Fox will broadcast just one of college football's 35 bowl games. And their broadcast of the Cotton Bowl got off to a horrible start when they failed to show the opening kickoff while their sideline reporter was interviewing the Texas A&M head coach.
Fox, who never aired a show they couldn't promote during a sporting event, had just run a promo for "Stars in Danger," which may have caused them to return to their live coverage late. But even if there was confusion over the timing, there is no excuse for not breaking away from the coach to show the actual game.
