The Samsung Galaxy SIII smartphone overtook Apple's iPhone 4S to become the world's best selling smartphone in Q3, according to figures from analyst Strategy Analytics. The analyst does not expect the Galaxy SIII to hold the number one handset title next quarter -- in Q4, it's predicting the newer iPhone 5 will out-ship Samsung's flagship.
